Thank you for choosing Hando ("App"), operated by Tapnetic LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

By using Hando and any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register for an account, use the App, or contact us. This may include:

• Account information: name, email address, profile photo, and authentication credentials (including via Google Sign-In).
• Family and workspace data: children's names and dates of birth, family workspace settings, and member roles (owner, co-parent, caregiver, viewer).
• Calendar events: event titles, dates, times, recurrence patterns, and notes associated with your family calendar.
• Tasks: task descriptions, due dates, assignments, and completion status.
• Shared expenses: expense descriptions, amounts, categories, receipt photos, and settlement records.
• Media: photos you upload for your profile or as receipt attachments.
• Feedback and communications: any messages or feedback you submit through the App.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device information: device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Usage data: features used, screens viewed, interaction patterns, session duration, and timestamps.
• Log data: IP address, browser type (if applicable), crash reports, and diagnostic information.

1.3 Information from Third-Party Services

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google account. If you enable Google Calendar sync, we access your calendar events to synchronize them with the App.

1.4 Device Permissions

Hando may request access to the following device features:

• Camera: to capture receipt photos for shared expenses.
• Photo library: to select profile photos and receipt images.
• Calendar: to sync family events with your device calendar and Google Calendar.
• Push notifications: to send you reminders about events, tasks, and family activity.

You can manage these permissions at any time through your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Provide and maintain the Services: operate the App, manage your account, and deliver the features you request (calendar, tasks, expenses, family workspaces).
• Facilitate account creation and authentication: including sign-in via Google.
• Sync calendars: synchronize events between Hando, your device calendar, and Google Calendar.
• Process subscriptions: manage your subscription status and entitlements.
• Improve the App: analyze usage patterns to identify bugs, improve features, and enhance user experience.
• Communicate with you: send push notifications, respond to feedback, and provide customer support.
• Ensure security: detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations: fulfill our legal and regulatory requirements.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

• With other workspace members: family and workspace data (events, tasks, expenses, children profiles) is shared with members of your family workspace as part of the core functionality of the App.
• With service providers: as described in Section 3, we share data with third-party providers who process it on our behalf to deliver the Services.
• For legal compliance: when required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law (e.g., for tax, accounting, or legal purposes). Data stored in shared workspaces may be retained for other workspace members until they also delete their accounts or the workspace is dissolved.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Hando is designed for parents and caregivers aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18. The App allows parents to enter child profile information (such as names and dates of birth) for the purpose of organizing family schedules and activities. This information is provided and controlled by the parent or caregiver, not by the child.

If you believe that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at mail@tapnetic.ai, and we will take steps to delete such information.

8. Your Privacy Rights

8.1 General Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: request deletion of your personal data.
• Restriction: request restriction of processing of your data.
• Data portability: request transfer of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection: object to processing of your data based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent: withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

8.2 European Economic Area (EEA) Residents

If you are in the EEA, we process your data based on the following legal grounds: performance of a contract (providing the Services), your consent, and our legitimate interests (improving and securing the App). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. A list of authorities is available at ec.europa.eu.

8.3 California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data).
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

9. Do-Not-Track Signals

Some browsers transmit Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals. There is currently no universal standard for recognizing DNT signals, so we do not respond to them at this time. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

10. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS devices, Hando requests your permission to track activity across other companies' apps and websites via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You may decline this request and still use the App. You can change your preference at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may notify you via the App or by email. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
